Endrick’s next move under scrutiny as three Spanish clubs make contact

Real Sociedad, Real Betis and Villarreal have all made enquiries about Real Madrid forward Endrick as the Brazilian considers his options during the current summer transfer window.

According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Real Sociedad are particularly keen to sign the 19-year-old on loan and have recently asked about his availability.

The Basque club are looking for a forward who can make runs in behind the defence and offer mobility in attack. Endrick could fit that profile, either as a central striker or operating from a wider position.

This is not the first time Real Sociedad have explored the possibility of bringing the Brazil international to the club. Reports a year ago suggested a loan move to the Basque side was close to being completed, but the deal stalled after Endrick suffered a physical setback.

Real Sociedad are not the only Spanish club to have tested the situation. Real Betis and Villarreal have also made enquiries about the player.

Mundo Deportivo reports that all three clubs are due to compete in European competitions, a factor that could appeal to Endrick as he seeks regular football and continued development.

The recent arrivals of Yan Diomande and Carlos Espi could also play a part in Endrick deciding whether to leave Real Madrid temporarily. The competition for places may influence the Brazilian’s assessment of his next step.

Endrick has not featured regularly for Real Madrid since joining the club, although he made a strong impression on Real Sociedad supporters during the 2024-25 Copa del Rey semi-final.

He scored two outstanding goals against Real Sociedad across the two legs of that tie, one in each match, and remains a familiar figure to the Basque club’s fans.

The forward has made 40 appearances for Real Madrid and scored seven goals. During the second half of last season, he spent time on loan at Lyon, where he found the net eight times in 21 appearances.

A move to one of the three Spanish clubs would give Endrick the chance to remain in familiar surroundings while potentially playing a more regular role. Real Sociedad, Real Betis and Villarreal are all understood to be monitoring his situation, with their involvement in European competition adding to the attraction of a possible move.

For now, Endrick remains a Real Madrid player, but the interest from three La Liga clubs has placed his future at the centre of attention during the summer transfer window.
