Cameroon international Andre Onana has emerged as a transfer target for clubs in the Saudi Professional League.
Onana, who joined Manchester United from Inter Milan has been inconsistent with his performance, conceding 56 goals in 43 games.
The 29-year-old is losing trust of Ruben Amorim’s led technical team following recent performance. He committed a blunder as Manchester United settled for a 2-2 draw against Lyon in the Europa League quarterfinals clash.
He was not included in the squad for their game against Newcastle United, where the club succumbed to a 4-1 defeat at the weekend in his absence.
According to reports, representatives from the Saudi Arabian Pro League are showing interest in the Cameroonian goalkeeper. However, it is not specified which clubs are involved.
Meanwhile, Onana has not yet made a final decision about his future at Manchester United despite recent struggles. He is currently focused on reclaiming his spot in the starting lineup and playing in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final against Lyon.
Onana’s current contract with Manchester United is expected to elapse in the summer of 2028.
