French forward of Ivorian descent, Elye Wahi has expressed his readiness to do his best for new club Eintracht Frankfurt.
The talented youngster completed his move to the German Bundesliga side on Friday, January 24.
Speaking in his first interview at the club, Elye Wahi promised to repay the trust placed in him by the people of Frankfurt with good performances and goals.
“I am happy to be at Eintracht from now on. It is a big club that I have heard a lot of positive things about. It quickly became clear to me that I wanted to take the chance and come here. I want to repay the trust that has been placed in me with good performances and goals,” Wahi said as quoted on the Frankfurt website.
At his new club, the Ivorian attacker has been handed the Number 17 jersey.
He has been signed as a replacement for star forward Omar Marmoush and will be expected to add quality to the attack of Frankfurt to ensure the team competes at the top level in all competitions.
