England attacker of Nigerian descent, Bukayo Saka, has stated that Arsenal’s victory against Real Madrid in the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League shows they can beat any side.
Saka returned from injury in time early this month to feature in both quarter-final games, putting up top performances across the two legs to help the Gunners knock out Los Blancos.
According to the England forward, the 5-1 aggregate win was a big statement and a message to all the clubs in Europe that Arsenal are a top side.
“We showed that we were able to beat one of the best teams home and away. We have sent a message,” Bukayo Saka said.
After knocking out Real Madrid, Arsenal will now face another European giant, PSG, in the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League.
The Gunners are confident of a win against the Parisians over the course of the two legs to make it into the final of the competition.
