El Dakhlia sign Egypt winger Zika after A. Damanhour departure
Egypt winger Zika has joined El Dakhlia from A. Damanhour on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old left winger completed the move on 15 August 2026, returning to El Dakhlia for the start of the 2026-27 season. No transfer fee was involved in the switch.
Zika brings experience from several Egyptian clubs to his new side, having spent the previous two seasons with A. Damanhour. He joined that club from Tersana in August 2024, also on a free transfer.
Before moving to A. Damanhour, Zika had been involved with Tersana and Biyala during the 2020-21 campaign. He initially moved from Tersana to Biyala in January 2021 before returning to Tersana at the end of the loan period.
His most recent competitive appearance came in the Egypt Cup, where he played four minutes in one match. The fixture represents the only recorded appearance in his latest statistical record.
Zika was born in Egypt on 29 December 1999 and operates primarily on the left side of attack. His arrival gives El Dakhlia another option in the wide areas as the club begins its new campaign.
The move also marks the latest step in a career that has so far been spent within Egyptian football. Zika has changed clubs without a transfer fee on each of his two most recent moves, first leaving Tersana for A. Damanhour and now completing his switch to El Dakhlia.
El Dakhlia have now secured Zika’s services, with the Egypt international joining the club from A. Damanhour as a free agent.
