Eintracht Frankfurt are eyeing a big money move for French-Cameroonian forward Hugo Ekitike as the summer transfer window approaches.
The 22-year-old has become a transfer target for several top clubs in Europe due to his outstanding performance for Frankfurt this season.
Ekitike has rediscovered his form at Frankfurt following a difficult spell with Paris Saint Germain. He joined the Bundesliga club, initially on loan before making the move permanent last summer for just over €16m.
In his first full season, the French-Cameroonian striker has excelled, scoring 21 goals and delivering 9 assists from 34 appearances across competitions.
Frankfurt are be ready to cash in on the enterprising Cameroonian forward, who have garnered interest from clubs. However, the club is eyeing transfer fee that will surpass 100 million euros mark and become the most expensive transfer in the club’s history.
Previously, the most expensive transfer was Randal Kolo Muani’s move to PSG (80 million euros).
Ekitike is transfer target for Manchester United and several top clubs in Europe.
