Eintracht Frankfurt have made it clear they are not willing to part ways with French-Cameroonian striker Hugo Ekitiké, despite mounting interest from some of Europe’s top clubs following a remarkable debut season.
After sealing a permanent move from Paris Saint-Germain for €16.5 million in July 2024, Ekitiké has flourished in the Bundesliga.
The 22-year-old forward, who initially joined on loan, quickly cemented his place in Frankfurt’s starting lineup and has since become a key figure in the club’s attacking setup.
According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Eintracht Frankfurt are determined to retain Ekitiké’s services, particularly as they prepare for a return to the UEFA Champions League next season.
The club views the striker as central to their ambitions and has no intention of entertaining offers unless they are truly exceptional.

Ekitiké’s statistics speak volumes. In his first full campaign with the Eagles, he registered 34 goal contributions—22 goals and 12 assists—in just 48 appearances across all competitions.
His composure, movement, and clinical finishing have earned him plaudits and sparked a surge in market value, now estimated at €75 million by Transfermarkt.
Unsurprisingly, this level of performance has attracted the attention of several Premier League clubs.
Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle United have all expressed interest in securing the former Reims man.
Chelsea had also been strongly linked, though recent developments suggest the London club may step back following the signing of João Pedro.
Despite the flurry of speculation, Frankfurt are standing firm.
The Bundesliga side, eager to build on their domestic and European success, consider Ekitiké a cornerstone of their future.
With a contract running until June 2029 and an annual salary of €3.5 million, the forward remains one of the club’s most prized assets.
Nevertheless, should a bid in the region of €100 million materialise, Eintracht may be forced to reconsider their stance.
For now, however, the message from the Commerzbank-Arena is unequivocal: Hugo Ekitiké is not for sale.
As the summer window progresses, the final decision may rest with the player himself, who must weigh the appeal of Premier League football against the stability and Champions League opportunity on offer in Frankfurt.
