Egyptian Volleyball Federation opens exceptional registration window for three days

The Egyptian Volleyball Federation has opened an exceptional three-day registration period for men’s and women’s first-division clubs from 25 to 27 October 2026.

The federation said the decision followed a number of contract terminations involving players and women players. It added that the measure was intended to protect their future, particularly as some of those affected are members of the national teams.

Registration for the first division competitions will therefore be available on 25, 26 and 27 October 2026, the federation’s board confirmed.

The decision comes after the draws for the men’s and women’s league competitions were held by the Egyptian Volleyball Federation.

Men’s league draw

The men’s competition has been divided into four groups.

Group One contains Al Ahly, El Qanah, Smouha, Wadi Degla, Police and 6 October.

Group Two features Zamalek, El Tayaran, Tala’ea El Gaish, El-Tersana, Eastern Company and El-Said.

Petrojet, Al Ittihad, Heliopolis, Misr Petroleum, Delphi and Al Mokawloon are in Group Three.

Group Four consists of El Gezira, Sporting, El Zohour, HelioLido, El Shams and Qaroun.

Women’s league draw

The women’s competition will also consist of four groups.

Al Ahly, Delphi, El Zohour and 6 October have been placed in Group One.

Group Two includes Zamalek, Wadi Degla, El Shams and El-Said.

Sporting, El Gezira, National Bank of Egypt and Al Ittihad make up Group Three.

Group Four contains Arab Contractors, Smouha Ashab El-Giad and Heliopolis.

Al Ahly won both the men’s and women’s league titles last season.
