Egyptian teenager Hamza Abdelkarim named in Barcelona matchday squad for Champions League clash

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has announced his squad for their UEFA Champions League clash against Feyenoord on Tuesday, with Egyptian youngster Hamza Abdelkarim included in the matchday squad.

The Spanish giants will host Feyenoord at the Camp Nou in the opening round of the 2026/27 Champions League campaign, with Flick’s side aiming to begin their European journey with a victory.

One of the major talking points surrounding the squad is the inclusion of Abdelkarim, who could make his Champions League debut if he features against the Dutch side.
