Egyptian Super Cup: Pyramids coach Krunoslav Jurčić anticipates tough test against Zamalek
Head coach of Pyramids FC, Krunoslav Jurčić, is anticipating a tough test against Zamalek ahead of their Egyptian Super Cup semifinal clash.
In a highly competitive clash on Thursday, the reigning CAF champions League holders will take on Zamalek in the Cup competition, with both teams yearning for victory.
Zamalek are currently battling issues both on and off the field, including unpaid wages and operating under a new interim coach, Ahmed Abdel-Raouf.
Despite the challenges, Krunoslav Jurčić insists their tie against the Riyal Club will be a difficult one.
Pyramids FC have been impressive recently, winning six straight league matches and holding two continental titles. Regardless, Jurčić believes the team will need to put in the hard work to win the game.
“Zamalek’s current issues? We also have many absences,” Jurčić said at the press conference ahead of the match.
“The game will be tough and will likely be decided by small details.
“The most difficult challenge I face is keeping the team at the top. Personally, my ambitions with the club are limitless.”
