The 18-year-old has recently gained attention following his emergence into Real Madrid’s first team, impressing both in domestic competitions and on the European stage. His rapid rise has sparked widespread discussion about which nation he would ultimately choose to represent, given his dual eligibility.
In recent weeks, the Moroccan Football Federation had reportedly intensified efforts to secure his commitment. The federation was said to be offering a swift pathway into the senior national team setup, with the prospect of featuring at the 2026 World Cup seen as a key incentive.

Pitarch himself had previously maintained that he had not reached a final decision, leaving the door open to either continue with Spain or follow the path of teammate Brahim Diaz, who switched allegiance to Morocco.
However, according to Spanish television programme El Chiringuito, the talented youngster has now settled the matter, choosing to commit his international future to Spain, a decision he is said to be fully confident in.
