Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, the Minister of Youth and Sports, has initiated a telephone call with Captain Ahmed Sleiman, a member of the board of directors of Zamalek Club and the head of the team’s delegation in Algeria.
The call aimed to inquire about the team’s condition in the city of Annaba ahead of their encounter with Abu Salim from Libya in the African Confederation Cup.
During the conversation, Ahmed Sleiman expressed gratitude to the Minister of Youth and Sports for his ongoing communication with the team’s delegation to ensure their well-being in Algeria and to provide support to the players before their match against Abu Salim from Libya.
Zamalek is gearing up to face Abu Salim from Libya at 6 p.m. tomorrow, Sunday, according to Egypt’s local time.
The match will take place at the 19th of May 1956 Stadium as part of the fifth round of matches in the group stage of the African Confederation Cup.
