Today, in the New Administrative Capital, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Minister of Youth and Sports, met with Jamal Alamm, the President of the Egyptian Football Association, Captain Hussein Labib, the President of Zamalek Club, Khaled Mortagy, the Treasurer of Al Ahly Club, Eng. Hisham Nasr, the Vice President of Zamalek Club, and Mohamed Yahya, the President of United Sports Services Company.
The meeting addressed the latest preparations and arrangements for the upcoming Egypt Cup final match, scheduled to be held in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Minister Ashraf Sobhi expressed his gratitude to the boards of Al Ahly and Zamalek clubs for the positive atmosphere preceding the Egypt Cup final match in Saudi Arabia.
He commended the national initiative taken by the board of Al Ahly Club to visit Zamalek, fostering a spirit of competitive sportsmanship characterized by mutual respect between the two sides.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi discussed with all relevant parties, including the Football Association, Al Ahly Club, Zamalek Club, and United Company, all aspects and preparations to ensure a historic final worthy of the Egyptian state’s reputation.
He praised the efforts made by our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the fruitful cooperation with the Football Association and United in this regard.
