Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly set to announce signing of Tunisian star Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane
Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly are close to securing the services of Tunisian star Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane.
The 24-year-old attacker is joining the record Champions League holders from Hungarian giants Ferencvaros TC this summer. The forward has already arrived in Cairo to complete his move to the Egyptian giants.
Currently undergoing final session of his medical in Cairo, the highly-rated attacker is expected to sign for the Egyptian powerhouse in the coming days.
Al Ahly had finalized the transfer over two weeks ago, but the player only joined the squad after completing his commitments in the Hungarian league.
Ben Romdhane is expected to be a key addition to Al Ahly’s midfield ahead of a packed calendar, including domestic competition, continental clashes, and the global stage in the U.S.
He will join the club’s preparation for the FIFA Club World Cup after his unveiling in the coming days.
The Egyptian outfit are seeking to augment their squad for the impending FIFA Club World Cup to be staged in the USA next month.
