Egyptian Premier League club, Pharco FC have officially announced the departure of defender Yassin Marei from the club in the ongoing transfer window.

The 23-year-old is joining giants Al Ahly this summer following an agreement with Pharco. He is expected to solidify the defense of the Egyptian powerhouse heading into the new campaign.

Yassin Marei played in the Zamalek youth team before leaving on loan in 2021 to Pharco, where his contract was purchased at the end of the season.

He established himself as a key member of the Pharco squad, making a total of 59 matches in the Egyptian League, scoring two goals and making one assist. He also played three matches in the Egypt Cup.

He is joining Ahmed Mostafa “Zizo”, Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet”, Tunisian Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, Ahmed Ramadan “Beckham”, and goalkeeper Mohamed Ahmed, who have already secured a move to Al Ahly this summer.
