The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association announced the schedule for the group stage matches of the League Cup’s third edition on Tuesday.
The first round kicks off on January 8, followed by the second on January 15, and the third on January 24.
The League Cup matches are strategically scheduled during the periods when the Egyptian national team is not participating in the Africa Cup of Nations.
It is noteworthy that both Al Ahly and Zamalek have opted out of this edition of the League Cup.
The groups are as follows:
Group 1: Modern Future – Union – Smouha – Baladiyat Al-Mahalla.
Group 2: Pyramids – Farco – Talaea El-Gaish – Zed.
Group 3: Ceramica Cleopatra – ENPPI – Ismaily – El Dakhlia.
Group 4: El Masry – Arab Contractors – National Bank – El Gouna.
