Egyptian outfit Al Ahly have registered Tunisia star Ali Maaloul for the remainder of the Champions League campaign.
The experienced left-back, who was initially excluded from the team due to a ruptured Achilles tendon injury setback on May 18 is back in the squad.
Just a day to the closure of registration, Al Ahly have swiftly added Maaloul to their ranks for the campaign.
He is expected to a play a key role for the record Champions League holders as they seeks to defend the title.
Al-Ahly will play against Al-Hilal of Sudan in the quarter-finals of the African Champions League in April.
Meanwhile, Maaloul has been ruled out of action for few days after picking a minor injury at the club.
