A delegation from the Egyptian Football Federation, led by Jamal Al-Amr Farouk, President of the Federation, visited Al-Ameri Farouk, Vice President of the Al-Ahly Club, to inquire about his health following a recent illness.
The delegation, which included Mohamed Helmy Mashhour, Ihab Al-Koumi, and Dina Al-Rifai, members of the Federation’s Board of Directors, along with Walid Al-Attar, the Executive Director of the Federation, and Mohamed Al-Mashat, the legal advisor of the Federation.
Presidents of some of the general assembly clubs also accompanied them.
The ordinary general assembly meeting of the Football Federation was postponed to tomorrow, Friday, due to the insufficient legal quorum required for today’s meeting.
According to the regulations of the Football Federation, the ordinary meeting of the general assembly is held in the presence of an absolute majority of the member clubs of the general assembly, equivalent to half the number of members + one member, totaling 62 clubs out of 123.
With the registration period ending today, only 20 clubs attended.
Therefore, in accordance with the regulations of the Football Federation, the ordinary general assembly meeting was postponed to tomorrow, with the condition that it convenes upon the attendance of the absolute majority.
The visit of the football delegation to Al-Ameri Farouk emphasizes the solidarity and concern within the football community for the well-being of its members, transcending the competitive nature of the sport.
As the rescheduled assembly approaches, anticipation and speculation surround the decisions that will shape the future of Egyptian football.
