Al-Ahly defender, Ahmed Ramadan, is upbeat ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
In an interview with the media team of the club, the Egyptian full-back stressed his readiness to give his all for the African giants at the upcoming tournament in the United States of America.
“Facing a player like Messi, who is the best in the world alongside Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah, is an opportunity no one can miss. God willing, I will perform at a distinguished level and give everything I have so that we can win, as it is the first match and the opening match of the tournament,” Ahmed Ramadan said.
He continued, “This edition of the tournament is the toughest. After the group stage, we have more rounds ahead of us. I hope we reach the final, and everyone is doing their part.
“I saw everything related to Al Ahly. When I saw the Club World Cup draw, I felt that the club represented me. However, I did not expect to join Al Ahly in the World Cup, but I worked hard as much as I could.”
Ahmed Ramadan has returned to Al-Ahly for a one-season loan spell from fellow Egyptian Premier League side Ceramica Cleopatra.
At the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Al Ahly have been drawn into Group A, where they will face Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami (USA), FC Porto (Portugal), and Palmeiras (Brazil).
