Today, Sunday, marked the inaugural appearance of Egyptian head coach Moamen Soliman as he commenced his managerial role with the police team, Al-Shurta, in preparation for their upcoming clash against Naft Al-Maysan.

The players engaged in warm-up drills during the training session, followed by a meeting led by Moamen Soliman, during which he outlined his vision for the upcoming period, starting from the match against Naft Al-Maysan.

Al-Shurta is scheduled to face off against their rivals Naft Al-Maysan at Al-Shaab Stadium tomorrow evening, Monday, in the 18th round of the Iraqi Premier League.

Having completed 17 rounds of the Iraqi Premier League, Al-Shurta currently occupies the second position in the league table with 36 points, trailing the league leaders Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya by 5 points.

It is noteworthy that Moamen Soliman previously undertook the coaching responsibilities for Al-Shurta and succeeded in leading the team to clinch both the league title and the Super Cup during the 2021-2022 season.
