Egyptian international Mohammed Salah has reached a new milestone at Liverpool, setting up his 100th assists to help his outfit snatch a draw.
The former AS Roma and Chelsea winger played full throttle of the match as Liverpool drew 2-2 with Fulham at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
Salah played a pivotal role by providing an assist, contributing his outfiut comeback draw with Fulham on home turf.
Liverpool were handed an early scare after Andreas Pereira gave Fulham the lead in the 11th-minute as the visitors went to the halftime break with the advantage.
Three minutes into the second, Salah set up Cody Gakpo to level the score for the Reds. However, Fulham restored their lead in the 76th-minute following Rodrigo Muniz’s strike.
The home team showed resilience and determination to pull parity in the 86th-minute through Diogo Jota after he was set up by Darwin Nunez.
Salah now has an impressive 227 goals and 100 assists in 371 games for Liverpool since joining the club in 2017 from Roma.
This season, the Egyptian has scored 16 goals in all competitions and has 13 assists.
