Upon their arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport aboard a private plane after a four-hour journey from Cairo, Dr. Mokhtar Warida, Egypt’s Ambassador to Algeria, along with Counselor Rami El Mabide and Consul Mahmoud Morshid, alongside several officials from the Egyptian embassy, warmly welcomed the Al Ahly delegation led by Mohamed El Garhy, a board member.
Al Ahly is scheduled to face off against CR Belouizdad in the evening next Friday as part of the fourth round of the group stage in the CAF Champions League.
The Al Ahly team competes in Group D of the group stage, alongside Belouizdad from Algeria, Young Africans from Tanzania, and Medeama from Ghana.
