Egypt winger Ahmed Saleh makes Smouha switch from El Sekka SC

Egyptian winger Ahmed Saleh has joined Smouha from El Sekka SC in a move worth €34,000.

The 21-year-old has signed for the Egyptian Premier League club after spending the first part of 2026 with El Sekka SC. Saleh’s move to Smouha was completed on 15 August, and his new contract runs until 30 June 2029.

Saleh operates primarily on the left wing and becomes part of Smouha’s attacking options for the 2026-27 season. His arrival marks a step up to a club competing in Egypt’s top division following his spell with El Sekka SC.

The winger joined El Sekka from Nabaroh on 1 January 2026, meaning his time at the club lasted several months before he made the move to Smouha. The transfer represents Saleh’s second change of club in 2026.

Born on 10 December 2004, Saleh is an Egyptian national and has spent his recent career within the country’s domestic game. His position on the left side of attack is the clearest indication of the role he will bring to Smouha’s squad.

Smouha have secured Saleh’s services as they prepare for the new campaign, with the agreement keeping the player at the club through the end of June 2029. The deal gives the Egypt international a long-term base at a Premier League side after his short spell at El Sekka SC.

Saleh’s move from Nabaroh to El Sekka earlier in the year was followed by his transfer to Smouha, completing a rapid sequence of changes during the 2026 calendar year. He now continues his career with a club from Egypt’s highest division.

The completed transfer takes Saleh from El Sekka SC to Smouha on a deal running until 2029.
