A conflict has arisen between Hossam Al Badry and Al Ahly after the coach left the national team last week for Al Ahly Tripoli in Libya. Al Ahly criticized Al Badry for his departure, and the coach responded through a press release. Al Badry stated that he worked in a challenging atmosphere at the club and did not receive the same treatment as former manager Manuel Jose. He mentioned a lack of support, defamatory remarks, and unfulfilled promises, stating that he had refused numerous offers to leave the team for more money since last December. Al Badry was replaced by his deputy, Mohamed Youssef, at the helm of the team.
