Egypt striker Mohamed Shika moves from Kahraba to Cleopatra FC

Egypt striker Mohamed Shika has joined Cleopatra FC from Kahraba on a free transfer, giving the Premier League club a new centre-forward for the 2026-27 season.

Shika, 29, completed the move on 14 August 2026 after two years with Kahraba. He previously played for Entag El Harby, joining that club from Petrojet in January 2024, also on a free transfer.

The right-footed forward stands 1.86m tall and was born in Mansoura. His career has been largely spent in Egyptian football, with spells at Petrojet, Tanta SC, Suez SC and Eastern Company before his move to Kahraba.

Shika’s recorded Premier League figures include 18 appearances and three goals, while he also scored three times in 13 relegation play-off matches. In cup football, he registered three goals and one assist in eight Egypt Cup appearances, and added three goals in six Egyptian League Cup games.

Across those competitions, he has made 45 appearances, scoring 12 goals and providing one assist. His move to Cleopatra FC brings his latest club change after a period in which he had established himself across several Egyptian sides.

The forward began his time at Petrojet after a loan move from Tanta SC in July 2018. He later returned to Petrojet following that loan before spending temporary spells with Suez SC and Eastern Company. Those moves preceded permanent changes to Entag El Harby and Kahraba.

Cleopatra FC have now secured Shika’s services without a transfer fee. The deal was completed on 14 August, with the Egyptian forward officially joining the club from Kahraba.
