Egyptian international Omar Marmoush will only consider a loan move in the winter transfer window amid uncertain future at Premier League giants Manchester City.
The former Frankfurt star has been tipped for a January departure, having struggled for regular playing time under manager Pep Guardiola, who captured his signature a year ago.
Despite speculations about his future, the enterprising attacker registered his first goal of the 2025/26 football campaign for Sky Blues, who are in contention for the Premier League title this season.
Marmoush has several opportunities to leave Manchester City, with Tottenham, Aston Villa, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund expressing firm interest in the attacker.
Despite clubs seeking for a permanent acquisition of the forward, including Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, Omar Marmoush prefers to leave Manchester City on loan.
Marmoush does not want to leave Manchester City permanently, as he would like to stay with the club. He intends to leave on loan for regular playing time and return after the spell.
Besides, Marmoush would prefer to stay in the English Premier League if he should leave Manchester City in the winter window, giving an advantage to Tottenham and Aston Villa, who are already keen to sign him.
It remains to be seen what will happen in the remaining days of the current winter transfer window, which will close on February 2.
