Egyptian international Mohammed Salah has been adjudged as the Premier League Player of the Month for February following his outstanding display for Liverpool.

Salah, who has few months left on his contract was a standout performer for Liverpool, scoring crucial goals to help the club secure victories.

He scooped the accolade following his remarkable 10 goal contributions for Liverpool, who are close to annexing the title this season.

Salah scored six times for the Reds, including a match-clinching double away at AFC Bournemouth and the opener in a 2-0 victory against Manchester City. He also set up four additional goals in the top flight.

The African star beat off competition from Beto, Jean-Philippe Mateta, Yankuba Minteh, Djed Spence and fellow Liverpool man Dominik Szoboszlai to secure the prestigious award.

The 32-year-old attacker is now tied with Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero for the most Premier League POTM awards, with seven to his name.

The Egyptian also claimed the prize in November 2017, February 2018, March 2018, October 2021, October 2023 and November 2024.

Salah has racked up 32 goals and provided 22 assists in 42 appearances for Liverpool this season.

He will join the Egyptian national team for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying matches.
