Mohamed Salah is reportedly in discussions with FC Barcelona as he explores his options for the future, according to Spanish media reports.
The Egyptian forward is in the final three months of his contract with Liverpool, and negotiations over an extension have yet to progress.
With his future at Anfield uncertain, several clubs have expressed interest in securing his services on a free transfer this summer.
Barcelona has long been linked with Salah, and their interest has resurfaced given that no transfer fee would be required.
According to a report from SPORT, Salah has “offered himself” to the Catalan club, reigniting conversations that had previously stalled due to his high wage demands.
While Salah has reportedly initiated new talks, it remains unclear if Barcelona can afford a financial package to lure the 32-year-old.
The La Liga leaders are unlikely to match his current salary of approximately £290,000 per week.
Meanwhile, Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal is also keeping an eye on Salah as a potential replacement for Neymar, who departed the club in January.
Salah was unable to make a decisive impact in Liverpool’s recent Champions League exit against Paris Saint-Germain, failing to score or register an assist across the two-leg tie.
However, he remains a key figure for the Reds, having netted 32 goals in all competitions this season.
