Egypt’s football captain, Mohamed Salah, along with teammates Ahmed Hegazi and Mohamed Elneny, joined the team’s manager, Mohamed Gharib, in visiting Mahmoud Suleiman, the team’s mission officer.
Suleiman recently experienced a health crisis after the friendly match between Egypt and Tanzania and now requires heart surgery.
The Egyptian national team, under the guidance of Portuguese coach Roy Vitoria, expressed sincere wishes for Mahmoud Suleiman’s speedy recovery, hoping for his swift return to his duties with the national team.
Despite the concerning situation, the Egyptian national team continued its preparations for the upcoming challenges.
The team completed its final training session this morning at the Egypt Stadium in the Olympic City, Cairo, before their departure at 3 p.m. to Ivory Coast to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations.
