Sources within the Egyptian national team’s coaching staff revealed to “Al-Watan Sport” that Hossam Hassan’s selection for the team’s main goalkeeper in the coming period has narrowed down to Mustafa Shubair, the goalkeeper of Al Ahly club, and the duo of Mohamed Awad and Mohamed Sobhi from Zamalek club.
However, Hossam Hassan prefers to rely on Mustafa Shubair in the upcoming period after his strong performances in recent matches with the Red Devils.
The final match of the Egypt Cup will be the decisive factor in Hossam Hassan’s decision as he monitors the goalkeepers’ performance in the game.
