The Egyptian national football team, led by head coach Hossam Hassan, departed Cairo today en route to Cape Verde for a key Africa Cup of Nations 2025 qualifying match.

The game is scheduled for Friday at 18:00 local time at Cape Verde’s National Stadium, as part of the fifth round of the tournament qualifiers, which will culminate in Morocco.
