Egypt’s national team is set to complete its final preparations on home soil before departing for Morocco, where they will face Ethiopia and Sierra Leone in the 5th and 6th rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
According to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), the Pharaohs will travel to Morocco on the evening of Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
Before their departure, the team will hold a crucial training session under the guidance of head coach Hossam Hassan, as they fine-tune their tactics for the upcoming fixture.
The squad is now at full strength, with key players including Mohamed Salah, Omar Marmoush, and Mostafa Mohamed—who arrived from Europe—taking part in the evening training session.
With all their stars available, Egypt will head to Morocco with one clear objective: securing three points against Ethiopia.
