Mohamed Nagy Gedo, who was loaned to Hull City from Al Ahly last August, has returned to the Red Devils after a disappointing stint with the Tigers. The Egyptian striker aims to rejuvenate his career with Al Ahly, having not been retained by the English club due to a lack of agreement with their counterparts at Al Ahly.
Gedo is set to participate in the African Champions League, and Al Ahly’s coach, Mohamed Youssef, expressed optimism about Gedo’s return, stating, “Gedo has participated in team training since Friday. He will be ready for the match against Moqaouloun this Wednesday. The return of Gedo will increase the offensive power of the team, especially with the lack of attackers within the squad.”
After spending an extended period on the bench in England, Gedo is eager to make a successful comeback. He aims to leave behind his experiences at Hull City and contribute positively to Al Ahly’s future. Gedo expressed his happiness about rejoining his club and conveyed optimism about the upcoming period, stating, “I am very happy to once again join my club. I hope to bring something more to Ahly in the coming period. I forgot my journey to Hull City because I want to forget this stage. I am optimistic about the future, which I am sure will be better.”
