Eduardo Camavinga linked with potential Real Madrid exit this summer
Eduardo Camavinga is emerging as a possible summer departure at Real Madrid if a suitable offer arrives.
Spanish journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon reports that, among the club’s midfielders, the Frenchman is one of the names most likely to be considered if Los Blancos decide to make room for new arrivals.
Madrid are already shaping next season’s midfield plans around Jude Bellingham, Aurelien Tchouameni, Arda Guler, Federico Valverde and Bernardo Silva, which has put extra pressure on Camavinga’s future. The club are said to view his sale as a way to raise funds for a new central midfielder, a position Jose Mourinho has wanted reinforced.
Camavinga, however, has not given up on staying. He wants to convince Mourinho and fight for his place rather than leave quietly. That stance means any transfer would depend not only on a good financial offer, but also on the player changing his mind about remaining at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 23-year-old joined Madrid from Rennes in 2021 and quickly built a reputation as a reliable, versatile midfielder. He made an instant impression on debut by scoring after coming on against Celta Vigo, and he has already won both La Liga and the Champions League with the club. Now, though, his situation is one of the clearest talking points in Madrid’s summer rebuild.
