Art Langeler has been chosen to guide the future of Al Ahly after being named the club’s new youth director.

The Dutch coach arrives with a strong reputation for developing young players and will be trusted to shape the next generation in Cairo.

Mohamed Youssef, Al Ahly’s sporting director, announced the signing of Dutchman Art Langeler as the club’s youth coach.

Youssef said in an official statement issued by Al-Ahly Club that this decision came after reviewing the resumes of several coaches specializing in the youth sector.

Youssef explained that after the matter was presented to the planning committee and Mahmoud El Khatib, the club’s president and general supervisor of football, a contract was signed with the Dutch coach for three seasons, and he will begin his work in early October.

Langeler takes over from Badr Rajab, who departed before the start of the current campaign. Walid Soliman will continue to head the youth sector, while Langeler focuses on building talent that can strengthen Al Ahly’s senior team in the years to come.
