Duqara Club bring in Senegal midfielder Muhammed Diame Pape after ES Metlaoui spell

Senegal midfielder Muhammed Diame Pape has begun a new chapter in Jordan after joining Duqara Club from ES Metlaoui on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old defensive midfielder moves to the Jordanian Pro League after two years with the Tunisian top-flight club, having joined ES Metlaoui in August 2024. His arrival gives Duqara Club an experienced central midfielder with a significant record of football in Ligue 1.

Diame Pape made 38 Ligue 1 appearances for ES Metlaoui, contributing one assist and playing 2,716 minutes. He also featured twice in the Tunisian Cup, adding a further 188 minutes to his competitive record.

Born in Dakar, the Senegalese player stands 1.87 metres tall and is primarily used in defensive midfield. He is right-footed and has represented Duqara Club as his national club following the move.

The transfer marks a change of country for Diame Pape, who now continues his career in Jordan after competing in Tunisia’s domestic competitions. His time at ES Metlaoui included regular involvement in Ligue 1, where he established a substantial appearance record across the 2024-25 and 2025-26 period.

Duqara Club have secured the midfielder without paying a transfer fee. The move was completed on 31 August 2026.
