Bastia’s Malian defender, Drissa Diakité, has been handed a severe punishment by the LFP Disciplinary Commission. He is set to miss three matches, with two of them being fixed and one suspended. Diakité was penalized for a reckless action during a Ligue 1 match against Toulouse. As a result, he will be absent from Bastia’s upcoming away game against Saint-Etienne and the home match against Lorient on October 4.
