Five days before the kick-off of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), the national football teams of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) and Ivory Coast are scheduled to play their last friendly match. The match will take place in Abu Dhabi on January 14, allowing both teams to make final preparations for the upcoming tournament in South Africa. The Ivory Coast is placed in Group D, along with Togo, Tunisia, and Algeria, while DR Congo is in Group B, alongside Ghana, Mali, and Niger.
