Teenage winger Douglas Owusu is being linked with a move from Serbian side Radnik to Egyptian giants Ahly SC, according to transfer listings.
The 19-year-old, who represents both Ghana and Serbia at national level, is the subject of growing speculation after a rapid rise in the Serbian Super Liga with FK Radnik Surdulica. Data from transfer platform Transfermarkt lists Ahly SC as a potential destination from Radnik, with the likelihood of the move currently marked only as “?” – indicating that no clear probability has yet been established.
Owusu’s market value has climbed sharply over the past year, rising from €75,000 in January 2025 to a current valuation of €700,000 as of 11 December 2025. That upward curve is fuelling talk that Ahly could see the left‑footed right winger as a relatively low‑cost investment with significant resale potential. With no contract expiry date publicly recorded at Radnik, observers have also noted the possibility that Owusu’s contractual situation could evolve, potentially opening the door to a future free‑agent scenario if no extension is agreed.
The Accra‑born attacker joined Radnik from Ghanaian club Asekem FC on 15 August 2024 for an undisclosed fee and has since established himself in Serbia’s top flight. Standing at 1.80m and wearing the No 7 shirt, he has been deployed primarily on the right flank, cutting inside on his stronger left foot. His progress in the Super liga Srbije has coincided with interest from abroad, including from the Egyptian Premier League, where Ahly SC are regularly active in the international market.
No fee, timeframe or agreement has been reported, and there are no indications yet of formal negotiations between the clubs. If a move to Cairo does materialise, it would mark a swift step up for Owusu and could prove a defining moment in shaping his reputation and long‑term potential on both the African and European stages.
