German Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund will look to permanently sign Austrian-born forward with Nigerian roots Carney Chukwuemeka in the summer transfer window.
The youngster is currently on loan at Dortmund from English Premier League side Chelsea.
According to contract details chances upon, Dortmund can trigger a clause to sign Carney Chukwuemeka on a permanent basis at the end of the season but only if the club is able to qualify for Europe.
If Dortmund is able to secure a Uefa Champions League spot, then the club will have enough funds to sign the talented midfielder.
Although there were some injury concerns about the player, he debuted for Dortmund over the weekend when Dortmund thrashed Union Berlin 6-0 in the German Bundesliga.
Carney Chukwuemeka impressed as a substitute in that game and is now eager to play more to audition for a permanent signing at the end of the 2024/25 football season.
