Dortmund ready to negotiate new loan deal for Austrian-Nigerian midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka

German Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund, have decided to contact Chelsea to negotiate a new loan deal for Austrian midfielder Nigerian descent, Carney Chukwuemeka.

The Black and Yellow side secured the loan signing of the young midfielder from Chelsea in the winter transfer window.

Due to injury setbacks, Carney Chukwuemeka has not had the chance to play many games.

However, in the few matches he has played, the youngster has impressed and proven his worth.

With the club satisfied with his performances, there is a willingness to retain the services of Carney Chukwuemeka.

The only issue is that a permanent signing of the player who could cost up to 30 million euros is too much for Borussia Dortmund.

The club may not be able to raise that money in the summer.

As a result, a decision has been taken to engage Chelsea for a new one-year loan deal.

Checks have revealed that Carney Chukwuemeka is also interested in extending his stay at Dortmund.
