Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing France-born forward of Congolese descent Arnaud Kalimuendo.
The plan is to secure the services of the attacker to play as a back-up to Guinean striker Serhou Guirassy.
Although Dortmund are believed to be leading the race for Arnaud, the Yellow and Black outfit faces competition from Bayer Leverkusen and Newcastle United.
Arnauld Kalimuendo impressed last season with his performances in the French Ligue 1. In the campaign, he scored 17 goals and provided four assists.
The forward has already scored 101 competitive goals for club and international teams.
Dortmund have monitored the forward for a while and believes he will be a good addition for the team heading into the 2025/26 football season.
Dortmund must now convince the forward to choose the club and disregard interest from other clubs.
Arnaud Kalimuendo, 23, is currently under contract with Stade Reims until 2027. He will assess his options and decide on his future next month.
