Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing Swiss midfielder of Senegalese descent, Djibril Sow.

The 28-year-old midfielder has experience in the German Bundesliga, having previously played for Eintracht Frankfurt.

In 2023, Sow moved from Frankfurt to Spain, where he signed for La Liga outfit Sevilla FC.

Dortmund who are keen on strengthening their squad for the 2025/26 football season want to bring in an experienced midfielder.

After looking through the market, the club has identified Djibril Sow as a potential candidate.

The club acknowledges his experience in the German Bundesliga and wants to push to secure his services.

While Djibril Sow is said to be open to a return to the German Bundesliga, it is unclear if Sevilla will agree to his sale.

Sow is currently under contract with the La Liga club until June 2028.

Dortmund will need to present a convincing offer in the summer window to be able to sign the midfielder.
