Dominique Badji is set to embark on a new chapter in his football career as he makes the leap to European football.

The seasoned striker, with an extensive MLS journey spanning clubs like the Colorado Rapids, Charlotte Independence, FC Dallas, Nashville SC, and FC Cincinnati, has decided to explore fresh challenges beyond the North American football landscape.

Dominique Badji, also having a stint with the Boston Rams, has etched his name in MLS history, and at 31, he has opted for a European adventure.

The seasoned forward has chosen to join Bandirmaspor, a club currently holding the seventh position in the Turkish Second Division.

Bandirmaspor boasts a diverse squad, including striker Moussa Djitté. Dominique Badji’s decision to make this transition reflects his eagerness to test his skills on the European stage and embrace new footballing challenges.

Having been selected 67th overall in the January 2015 MLS SuperDraft by the Colorado Rapids, Badji’s MLS journey has been commendable.

With 216 MLS appearances, including 11 in the playoffs, the striker has showcased his prowess by scoring 42 goals and providing 25 assists. Now, as he joins Bandirmaspor, he is poised to bring his experience and skillset to the Turkish football arena.

This move not only symbolizes a significant transition for Dominique Badji but also highlights the increasing appeal of European football for players seeking diverse and competitive environments to further enrich their footballing journey.
