Didier Drogba, the Ivorian international footballer, made a donation to journalists in Ivory Coast as part of the Ramadan celebration. Despite being known for shying away from the spotlight, Drogba contributed to the occasion by providing journalists with essential items such as dairy products, sugar, and granulated coffee.
The donation, valued at 1.5 million CFA francs (approximately 2,230 euros), was presented by Lala Diakité, a representative of Didier Drogba, during a ceremony held at the press house in Abidjan last Saturday. Moussa Traoré, the representative of journalists, expressed gratitude to Drogba for the generous contribution and extended well wishes for a successful season to the footballer.
The gesture was described as an expression of sharing, solidarity, and fraternity, with the intention of helping journalists pray for peace and reconciliation in Ivory Coast. Such philanthropic acts contribute to fostering a sense of community and support, especially during festive occasions like Ramadan.
