Khaled bin Mish’at, the president of Saudi club Dhamk, has openly voiced In an exclusive interview with Al Arabiya, his desire to secure the services of Egyptian goalkeeper Mohamed Al-Shennawy during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Al-Shennawy recently led his team to clinch the bronze medal at the 2023 Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia and is gearing up for the Egyptian Super Cup final.
Bin Mish’at affirmed Dhamk’s aspiration to sign Al-Shennawy or any other top-tier goalkeeper.
However, he clarified that the team already boasts the Algerian international goalkeeper Mustapha Zeghba.

He categorically denied such claims, emphasizing the absence of discord between the management, the coach, and the goalkeeper.
The president of Dhamk reiterated the club’s decision not to engage in negotiations with Al-Shennawy directly for acquisition.

His stellar performance for Al Ahly and the Egyptian national team has amplified his appeal.
Dhamk is gearing up to face Riyadh in the 19th round of the Saudi Pro League next Thursday.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly is set to square off against Modern Future in the final, vying for the championship and aiming to retain their title on Thursday, December 28.
