Former Stade Rennais manager, Julien Stephan, has heaped praise on French teenager of Ivorian descent, Desire Doue.
Speaking to 90min, the tactician described the rising star as a top professional destined to achieve great things.
“He’s a true professional. Doue has an incredible work ethic, whether it’s before training to prepare, doing warm-ups, being ready for sessions, or afterwards with recovery and treatments. He’s also meticulous about sleep and nutrition.
“He’s a top professional. At just 19, he’s fully grasped what it means to be a footballer and understands what it takes to compete at the highest level. His ambitions are perfectly aligned with the daily efforts he puts in to achieve them,” Julien Stephan said.
Desire Doue, 19, worked under Julien Stephan during his time at Stade Rennais. Now at PSG, the talented winger is gradually making a name for himself.
His impressive performances in not just the French Ligue 1 but in the UEFA Champions League has made him one of the hot prospects in the world.
