Demba Ba, the scorer of Chelsea’s decisive goal against PSG in the Champions League, has expressed his intention to leave the London club. Despite his crucial contribution, Ba feels he hasn’t been given enough playing time under José Mourinho and is seeking regular minutes elsewhere.
In an interview with Le Parisien, Ba stated his desire to play full matches and enjoy his football, indicating his dissatisfaction with his limited opportunities at Chelsea this season.
Several clubs have shown interest in acquiring Ba’s services, including PSG, Besiktas Istanbul, Arsenal, and Napoli. Besiktas is reportedly preparing an offer for Ba, especially after expressing interest in Samuel Eto’o. Additionally, talks have surfaced about potential moves to Arsenal and Napoli, with Chelsea potentially willing to part ways with Ba for around €7 million.
Ba’s future destination remains uncertain, but his desire for more playing time and enjoyment on the pitch suggests that he is actively seeking a move away from Chelsea.
