Austrian defender of Nigerian descent, David Alaba is in line to recover from his minor injury before the Copa del Rey final next weekend.
The experienced defender suffered an injury on Wednesday night when Real Madrid defeated Getafe in the Spanish La Liga.
He only played 45 minutes and had to be taken off at halftime due to the pain he was feeling.
Although there were concerns that David Alaba could be out of action for weeks, an assessment today has revealed otherwise.
It is understood that Alaba will recover in the coming days and will be available for the Copa del Rey final between FC Barcelona and his Real Madrid outfit.
Unfortunately, Edouard Camavinga, who was also injured in the win against Getafe, has been ruled out of action for the rest of the season.
The Frenchman will miss the Copa del Rey final.
It is now more likely that Fran Garcia could play left-back for Real Madrid in the final on Saturday.
