Manchester United’s rising star Chido Obi Martin has earned high praise from teammate Leny Yoro during an impressive breakout season at Old Trafford.
The young forward, still finding his feet with the senior squad, is turning heads with his potential, and Yoro believes he’s destined for big things.
“Chido is talented. He can become one of the world’s best strikers in my opinion, if he continues his development. He scores a lot of goals and is a good boy, so I also hope that he will become one of the best,” Yoro told Tipsbladet.
“He has had his chance in a few games, and I of course hope that he will soon open his goal account in the first team. That will help the team.”
While Obi hasn’t notched a senior goal since his debut for United, his scoring record speaks volumes 12 goals in nine appearances for the under-19s. With buzz growing, the teenager looks poised for more first-team action next season, carrying the weight of lofty expectations.
